We have a c 1787 cape that likely has little or no insulation in the walls. We are interested in an evaluation of our situation and the possibility of injection insulation. We will also be doing an addition in the next couple of years and would like to discuss our insulation options for that project.

I was wondering how much it would cost to have insulation installed underneath our mobile home. it feels as if the cold air is coming up from underneath the trailer and we were considering having it fixed before the colder weather sets in.

We have been told Attic insulation is not sufficient and needs to be upgraded. We had Ice damns last year. House was built in 1976 and it is probably original insulation. Would like a cost estimate for bringing up to correct insulation rating.
Pine St in Rye
My wife and I bought a 1975 colonial last year and have been HORRIFIED at the oil bills this winter. We get that it's been an unusually cold winter, but we keep the thermostat at 60 degrees and the place just isnt comfortable...AND were dropping 100 gallons of oil into the tank every month. It's a "4-inch" house and there are lots of places I KNOW we can insulate and make improvements, but I want to talk with someone who can look at in from all angles... with a magnifying glass.... insulation, supplemental heating systems (wood/pellet/solar/geothermal) and help us suss out a long term game plan for our budget. Any help would be appreciated! Cheers! Jeff
